* 91 Points:  2013 Riesling, Swiftwater Cellars, Columbia Valley, WA

Fresh and open-textured, with just enough acidity to make the apple, mineral and floral flavors sing. Has a refreshing quality and a pretty feel on the finish.

* 91 Points:  2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, Swiftwater Cellars, Columbia  Valley, WA

"Focused, with crispy acidity and generous red berry and black currant fruit, hinting at coffee and smoke notes as the well-defined finish lingers against refined tannins." H.S., November 2013

* 93 Points / Cellar Selection:  2011 Proprietary Red, Swiftwater Cellars, Columbia Valley, WA

"This wine is 44% Cabernet Sauvignon and a whopping 40% Petit Verdot along with 8% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Malbec. It offers alluring aromas of dried flowers and dried leaves, cherry, dark coffee and woodspice. The palate is tightly wound and layered with abundant fruit flavors and highly structured tannins. It needs cellar time before it can be appreciated fully but has the stuffing to get there. Best from 2020 to 2027."  S.S., July 1, 2015

Dan Berger's Vintage Experiences

* 2008 Top Ten Wineries: Gundlach Bundschu Winery
"I have loved the wines of this Sonoma Valley winery since Linda Trotta took over as Wine maker in 1990, and yesterday I had the chance to try the latest wines.  Quality never lacking here, has risen further with the latest wines.  The story of Gundlach Bundschu is one of re-commitment to the land and a focusing on quality.  Trotta, one of California's finest wine makers, now has a truly stellar line-up of wines that shows how versatile is the large (estate) property."  Dan Berger, 2008

Andrea Immer Robinson
* 90 points: 2005 Pinot Noir Gundlach Bundschu, Sonoma Coast
"This wine is a major survivor.  In fact it needs air to really show its gorgeous fruit.  When I came back to it I was amazed.  The cherry-pomegranate fruit in the nose had livened up, and there was a new note of mushroom stock, with a hint of vanilla.  On the palate it was irresistibly succulent and plump.  The cherry-tea finish is impressively long."  2009

* 2006 Gewurztraminer Gundlach Bundschu, Sonoma Valley
"Aromas of white peach and grapefruit; rich textures and lively acidity to brighten the peach, grapefruit and pear flavors.  Superb balance."  March 2008
